We have tried some treatments and they didn’t work and are expensive so we were wondering the chances of getting pregnant naturally my OB has me on a high dose bc pill and after 3 months I am suppose to stop it and it should force my body to ovulate on its own. Is this possible has anyone had a good outcome from this. Any help would be nice! Thank you!

I have PCOS as well, and all my doctors are telling me NO you cannot get pregnant! But truth be told, they didn’t look at me for me, they saw me as a statistic, just another person with PCOS, so I talked to a REAL doctor, who didn’t treat me as another statistic, and he put me on something called Metformin for my PCOS. Metformin mixed with Chlomid can have the effects of a fertility drug, but I dont want to take the Chlomid yet, so he recomended that I take the Metformin every single day with a prenatal vitamin (using prenatal vitamins BEFORE conceiving can help get your body nutritionally ready) the Metformin will control the insulin in your body allowing your PCOS to take the back burner to your getting pregnant. With my PCOS, I dont have periods on my own without the help of a drug called Provera. I dont know if you get yours regularly or not, but my dc said “dont worry about getting your period, you can still get pregnant” just look for something that looks like egg whites when you wipe, or even in your undies….thats when your ovulating and you only have a small window to have sex in, so go go go!!!! I guess the answer to your question, considering I just found out in 5 weeks along, is YES, you can get pregnant naturally…if you just take ONE drug for your PCOS and a vitamin for prenatal care! well sweetie yes u can. i myself have PCOS and me and my first husband tried for 4 years and nothing ((Thank God)), then i took b/c for 3 months then stopped and when me and my husband now where only together for 3 months i got pregnant. i never in my whole life thought i’d get pregnant like that but i did. but then when i tried for a second time i had to get put on clomid for 3 months and on the 3rd month i got my BFP. So yes u can get pregnant naturally. Also my friend she has PCOS and never had a regular period and she dont like meds from dr. idk Y. but she took Vitex for 4 months and got her BFP on the 4th month. Vitex regulates ur period and promotes ovulation. Vitexs is a herb, u can get it at ur local herbal store.
I have PCOS and am 4 months pregnant with no help from doctors. It can happen. I don’t know how, but it can.
